[UPDATED! 11/10] Timeline of Known Info Regarding the Halloween Special

Hey, what's up. Gonna repost this here since the main db.DoctorWho subforum thought this counted as criticism, and deleted the post and banned me. Thanks to the kind people who PMed me before it got deleted to tell me about this place. I didn't think this would count, but the moderators' position over there is apparently that it's canon until one of the actors who played one of the first 8 doctors says it's not canon, in an interview reported on and verified by one or more of the BBC, the Guardian, the Daily Mail, or Whovian Quarterly.

September 7th, 2022: Former professional skateboarder Aileen Ruskin appears in public for the first time since she faked her death in 2003, posting a Tiktok video of herself in the Scottish village of Crathie, doing a kickflip off a ramp over a small bonfire, and then approaching the camera and saying "I'm back, c**ts!"

September 8th, 2022: Queen Elizabeth II dies in Balmoral Castle. Balmoral Castle is walking distance from Crathie, and there is an unhinged conspiracy theory going around suggesting that Ms. Ruskin was involved with her ex-majesty's death. I don't buy this, and I'm only including this in the timeline because her ex-highness' tragic demise is relevant and sad for all true Doctor Who fans.

September 24th, 2022: The BBC's verified official twitter account begins a pattern of "liking" various posts that relate to the epistemological concepts of solipsism, relativism, and/or perspectivism.

October 28th, 2022: The BBC's verified official twitter account announces the first ever Doctor Who Halloween Special, and that it will star Aileen Ruskin as the "five-point-threeth" Doctor, and air live in a single take on Halloween night. It also states that Skye Corwin, the fan-favorite actress who just wrapped the critically acclaimed third series of ITV sitcom Goofball Girls, will costar with Ruskin.

October 31st, 2022: The Special airs on BBC1. Aside from the single-take format, it is a pretty standard bottle episode about rubber-suit monsters whittling down a core group trapped in a cave complex by dragging them offscreen. Many are unexpectedly impressed with the believable performances of Ruskin and Corwin, since Ruskin has never done scripted acting before and Corwin has only done comedy.

November 1st, 2022: The BBC announces that an extremely powerful transmitter drowned out the official BBC1 signal throughout the UK the night before, and broadcast a Doctor Who production that was not authorized or known about beforehand by anyone at the BBC. When questioned about the twitter announcement, the BBC spokesperson expressed confusion, and promised an investigation into the account's apparent compromise. Cast members other than Ruskin and Corwin testify that they were all hired based on their live theatre improv experience, because there was no script. They were unaware that the production was not official. Neither Ruskin nor Corwin have been seen since the live shoot/broadcast, and the Metropolitan Police begin a search.

November 8th, 2022: Skye Corwin is located, alive, in a rock quarry a two hour drive from London. She claims that, by the finale when Ruskin as the Doctor invites her to board the TARDIS and go on further adventures across time and space, she was unsure whether the events of the production were actually real, and is still unsure. She claims to have no memory of the preceding week since the TARDIS doors closed. Ruskin's whereabouts remain unknown and the Metropolitan Police urge anyone who sees her to contact them immediately.

I really don't know what to think about this! Is it a marketing stunt?

[UPDATE NOVEMBER 10TH 2022!!!] This just raises more questions! Apparently Aileen Ruskin showed up uninvited at the premiere of Thor Ultra Trinity, and used a skateboard concealed in her sequined gown to do an ollie off of Chris Hemsworth's forehead??? Is this an MCU cross-promotion?

I guess some red carpet reporter asked her about the Doctor Who thing, and the video keeps getting DMCA'd but I transcribed it:

Ruskin: "Thank you for your interest! That was the pilot for a series concept I've been thinking about, where I pick someone who has a firm grasp on the difference between fantasy and reality, and I put them through an immersive experience of wonder and terror that makes them question everything they thought they knew. I have five more planned, so watch out for that."
Reporter: "Wow! Where is this show going to air?"
Ruskin: "Oh it's not a show, it's a personal project I'm doing for fun."
